Jim Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett National Park, is a part of a bigger Corbett Tiger Reserve, It is based in Nainital, Uttarakhand. Jim Corbett National Park is known as the very first national park of India & was established in 1936 with the name of Hailey National Park to preserve the endangered Bengal tiger. It was named after famous Jim Corbett who played a very important role in its formation.

Elephant Safari

The elephant safari begins at Durgadevi gate on north-eastern of the reserve and finishes at Halduparao north-western boundary of the reserve.One elephant is permitted to take only 4 Personnel at a time. It covers the Bijrani area.

Only 6 personnel are approved in a single Jeep. It covers territory including Bijrani, Sitabani and Jhirna.
